Attention.. Traffic Diversion in Gemmayze for 15 Days

The General Directorate of Internal Security Forces - Public Relations Division issued the following:

"Beirut Municipality will carry out maintenance works for the public road and sidewalks in the Gemmayze area – the stretch extending from Georges Haddad intersection (Chez Paul restaurant) until Mar Antonios Church.

Works will commence starting from 1-5-2026 and for a period of 15 days.

Therefore, traffic will be cut off in the area, and diverted from Georges Haddad Street downwards towards Beit El Kataeb, and upwards towards Burj El Ghazal intersection.

Honorable citizens are kindly requested to take note, and adhere to the directives and instructions of the Internal Security Forces personnel, and the traffic guidance signs, to facilitate traffic flow and prevent congestion."
