Amid Difficult Circumstances, Turkey Renews Its Support for Lebanon with an Aid Ship Cargo

The Higher Relief Committee announced in a statement that "at 1:30 pm today, the cargo of a humanitarian aid ship was received, containing relief materials provided by the Turkish state to the Lebanese state, in the presence of Minister of Social Affairs Haneen al-Sayed, Minister of Administrative Development Fadi Makki, Turkish Ambassador Murat Yotam, Secretary-General of the Higher Relief Committee Brigadier Bassam al-Nabulsi, and military and security leaderships."

The committee noted in its statement that "the donated aid includes assistance provided to the Higher Relief Committee, the Lebanese army, security services and the Lebanese Red Cross. Welcoming speeches were delivered on the occasion, thanking the Turkish state for its humanitarian and relief contributions to Lebanon in these difficult circumstances."
