Al-Hajjar discusses with UNOPS and the US Chargé d'Affaires ways to support municipalities and security agencies
Minister of Interior and Municipalities Ahmad Al-Hajjar met with UNOPS Director Osman Akram and US Chargé d'Affaires Keith Hanigan to discuss enhancing cooperation and support for municipalities, security agencies, and the Lebanese army.

Minister of Interior and Municipalities Ahmad Al-Hajjar received, in his office today, the Director of the United Nations Office for Project Services UNOPS Osman Akram, and the Project Management Advisor in the office Nabil Bazzi.
During the meeting, ways to enhance and activate cooperation between the two sides were discussed, particularly regarding the continued support for municipalities, security agencies, and departments affiliated with the Ministry of Interior and Municipalities, in a way that contributes to strengthening their capabilities, in light of the current challenges.
Minister Al-Hajjar also received the Chargé d'Affaires of the United States Embassy in Beirut Keith Hanigan, and they discussed the general situation in Lebanon and the region, in addition to discussing the support provided to the Lebanese army and the Internal Security Forces.
