Israeli forces escalate shelling on Nabatieh and surrounding areas, striking multiple towns and a power station.

Four artillery shells struck near the Kafr Roumman roundabout and the power station supplying the Nabatieh region on Monday afternoon, as Israeli forces sharply escalated their bombardment of southern Lebanon. The shelling also hit the Kafr Jouz area, with multiple projectiles landing near the "Progress of Women" Association and along the Qasr Rehan road, according to the National News Agency.
Additional artillery fire targeted the towns of Habouch, Nabatieh al-Fawqa, Mayfadoun, and the vicinity of the orphanage in Choukin. Separately, Israeli warplanes carried out an airstrike on the western town of Zawtar al-Gharbiya in the afternoon.
