These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of Daily Beirut ( dailybeirut.com), operated and published by ACH Holding ("we", "us", "our", or "the Site"). By accessing or using the Site or our mobile applications on iOS and Android, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not accept them, please do not use the Site.

1. About the service

Daily Beirut is an independent news publication covering Lebanon, the Arab world, and international affairs in five languages: Arabic, English, French, Spanish, and Russian. We provide reporting, analysis, photography, video, and other editorial content for general informational purposes.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use Daily Beirut. If you are under 18, you may use the Site only with the supervision of a parent or legal guardian.

3. Editorial content and intellectual property

All articles, headlines, photographs, illustrations, audio, video, design elements, and other editorial material on Daily Beirut are the intellectual property of ACH Holding or its licensors, unless otherwise stated. The content is protected by Lebanese copyright law and applicable international treaties.

4. Permitted use

You may:

• Read, share, and link to articles for personal, non-commercial purposes.
• Quote excerpts of up to 200 words from any article, provided you clearly credit Daily Beirut and include a working link to the original article.

You may not, without our prior written consent:

• Republish, redistribute, or syndicate full articles or substantial portions thereof on any other platform.
• Use our content for commercial purposes, including the training of artificial-intelligence or machine-learning models.
• Remove copyright notices, bylines, or other credits.
• Frame the Site within another site, scrape it, or systematically copy material from it.

5. Trademarks

"Daily Beirut", "دايلي بيروت", and the Daily Beirut logo are trademarks of ACH Holding. You may not use them in any form without our prior written consent.

6. Reader submissions

If you send us news tips, photographs, video, comments, or other materials by email, WhatsApp, or any other channel, you grant ACH Holding a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free right to publish, edit, translate, and archive that material across our platforms, with appropriate credit where requested. You confirm that you have the right to share what you send and that it does not infringe anyone else's rights.

7. Third-party links and embedded content

Daily Beirut publishes links to and embeds from external sites and services (social media, video platforms, partner publications). We do not control and are not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of those external resources.

8. Advertising

Daily Beirut carries advertisements, including ads served by Google AdSense and other ad networks. Advertisements are clearly distinguishable from editorial content, and inclusion of an advertisement does not imply our endorsement of the advertiser, its products, or its services.

9. Disclaimers

Daily Beirut is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. While we strive for accuracy, we do not warrant that the Site is uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses, and we make no warranty regarding the accuracy or completeness of any specific article. 10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, ACH Holding, its directors, employees, contractors, and partners shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of Daily Beirut.

If you believe an article contains an error, infringes your rights, or otherwise violates these Terms, write to [email protected] with the article URL and a clear description of your concern. We aim to acknowledge correspondence within 48 hours and to investigate every legitimate complaint.

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the Site after any change constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

13. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Lebanese Republic. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms or your use of Daily Beirut shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of Lebanon.
