Lebanon: In Solidarity with the United Arab Emirates

Issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the following statement:

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Emigrants condemns in the strongest and harshest terms the unacceptable Iranian attacks that targeted the United Arab Emirates using missiles and drones, in a flagrant violation of the sovereignty of a sister state, international law, and the United Nations Charter, and the serious threat these acts pose to the security and stability of the region.

The Ministry expresses Lebanon's full and steadfast solidarity with the leadership of the United Arab Emirates, its government, and its people, affirming its standing by their side in confronting these attacks, and supporting their legitimate right to defend their territory, protect their security and stability, and safeguard the safety of their citizens and residents on their soil.

The Ministry also reiterates the emphasis on the necessity of respecting the sovereignty of all Arab states and their territorial integrity, rejecting any interference in their internal affairs, and calls for an immediate cessation of these attacks in order to preserve security and stability in the region.
