Lebanon Minister, US Envoy Discuss Transport Cooperation
Lebanon's Public Works Minister Fayez Rasamny met US Ambassador to discuss cooperation in transport and infrastructure.

Lebanon’s Minister of Public Works and Transport, Fayez Rasamny, welcomed US Ambassador to Lebanon, Michel Issa, at his office for talks centered on bilateral cooperation. The discussions covered the general situation, current developments, and ways to strengthen collaboration between the two countries in the transport and infrastructure sectors.
The meeting addressed several files related to the ministry’s areas of responsibility. Officials also reviewed measures taken to enhance transparency, raise operational performance levels, and improve the quality of services.
Both sides stressed “the importance of continued coordination and cooperation to support Lebanese state institutions and contribute to developing vital sectors.” They also emphasized “the strength of Lebanese-American relations and the need to strengthen them in various fields.”
