Trump: We will do well in the midterms; Iran's economy has collapsed and inflation reached 300 percent

US President Donald Trump stated in a remark that "we will achieve good performance in the midterm elections, and prices have begun to fall, as have fuel prices."

He said: "We are in a very good situation while Iran is in a very bad situation."

Trump mentioned that "millions of barrels of oil have left the Strait of Hormuz during the past few days."

He noted that "the Iranian economy has collapsed and inflation has reached 300 percent," clarifying that "traffic rates through the Strait of Hormuz have exceeded pre-war levels."

He considered that "the strength of the dollar gives us significant advantages and helps us deal with inflation."
