Reuters: Hezbollah received $200 million from Iran to help displaced people
Hezbollah, backed by Iran, received 200 million dollars from Tehran to assist Lebanese displaced by the war with Israel this year.

Hezbollah, backed by Iran, received 200 million dollars from Tehran to help Lebanese displaced by the war with Israel this year, according to what Reuters reported citing two informed sources. This is the first major aid provided by the party to its supporters who bore the brunt of the conflict.
The sources stated that Hezbollah received the amount last month despite the United States tightening its economic grip on Iran and the increasing difficulty of delivering funds to Tehran's Lebanese ally.
According to the sources, Iranian funds earmarked for Hezbollah are sent through intermediaries who charge four times the usual fees due to increased risks.
