Hannah Laing denuncia un registro policial invasivo

La DJ Hannah Laing contó que se sintió “degraded” después de que la policía la registrara “absolutely everywhere” tras compartir el baño en un festival alemán. La artista, de 31 años, habló de una experiencia que describió como traumática después de su actuación en el extranjero.

Todo ocurrió tras su set en el festival Isle of Summer, en Múnich, Alemania. Hannah fue a un portaloo con su prima y, en cuanto abrieron la puerta, se encontraron con “undercover police officers” que las detuvieron.

Según Need To Know, ambas fueron conducidas a través del festival y llevadas a una carpa privada el 9 de mayo. Allí, Hannah y su prima fueron sometidas a un registro de tipo strip search en el que agentes femeninas revisaron “absolutely everywhere”, incluso el interior de su ropa interior.

Al principio pensaron que la inspección se limitaría a revisar bolsillos y bolsos. La prima de Hannah terminó llorando y las dos se sintieron “degraded and embarrassed”.

Los agentes dijeron a la estrella de Dundee y a su prima que debían registrarlas porque sospechaban que habían estado tomando drogas. Hannah ha advertido ahora a los británicos que asistan a festivales en Alemania que eviten entrar juntos a los baños para no pasar por lo mismo.

Al contar su experiencia en internet, la DJ dijo: “Don’t go to the toilet with your mate at German festivals.

“At no point were we clearly told that this would be such an intimate search.

“If we had been given the option we would have left the festival and not agreed to a strip search.

“One officer held my hands and the other did an invasive search all over including in my underwear, front and back, feeling absolutely everywhere.

“I felt extremely degraded and embarrassed. My cousin was crying because she felt the same.

“The officers told us there was signs on the portaloos but it was written in German, which we don’t speak.

“The sign states; anyone who enters a booth/cabin with two people (or more) will be banned and removed from the event.

“Nowhere did it state that attendees could be subjected to an invasive strip style search.”
