Lebanon has seen a notable drop in fuel prices, with the cost of a 20-liter can of 95 and 98 octane gasoline falling by 8,000 Lebanese pounds, diesel dropping by 31,000 pounds, and a gas cylinder decreasing by 45,000 pounds. The new rates set 95 octane at 2,382,000 pounds, 98 octane at 2,423,000 pounds, diesel at 2,466,000 pounds, and a gas cylinder at 1,706,000 pounds. The reduction offers some relief amid the country's severe economic crisis, though prices remain high for most citizens.
