Gold prices declined on Wednesday as investors turned their attention to the minutes from a recent US Federal Reserve policy meeting, seeking fresh clues about the future direction of monetary policy.
In immediate trading, spot gold dropped by 0.3 percent, reaching $4,150.23 per ounce by 01:45 GMT. Concurrently, US gold futures contracts slipped 0.2 percent to settle at $4,177.60.
