Andrea Pirlo, the former Italian football midfielder, married Valentina Baldini in 2022 after the couple had twins in 2017. The twins, Leonardo and Tommaso, were born in New York.

Prior to this marriage, Pirlo had been wed to Deborah Roversi, his childhood sweetheart. They married in 2001 and had two children, Niccolò and Andrea. Their separation in 2014 attracted media attention amid reports linking Pirlo to Valentina Baldini.

Deborah Roversi was involved in a legal dispute over maintenance payments following their separation. Some reports suggested she requested €50,000, though this figure was later denied. In an interview with Vanity Fair, Deborah described their marriage as one of true love, emphasizing her sacrifices and support for Pirlo’s career.

Valentina Baldini, an estate agent, was previously the partner of Richard Grande Stevens, son of one of Juventus’ owners. It is reported that Pirlo met Valentina on a golf course, and that she left Richard Grande Stevens for Pirlo, who was described as "besotted" with her.

Their wedding took place at Pirlo’s home in Turin, with notable Italian football figures attending, including former AC Milan players Ignazio Abate and Massimo Ambrosini. The ceremony occurred just a day after Pirlo was inducted into the Italian Football Federation’s Hall of Fame.

Pirlo had been named to the Hall of Fame in February 2020, but his induction was postponed until 2022 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Before receiving the honor, he donated an item representing his playing career to the Museo del Calcio at Coverciano. Pirlo expressed uncertainty about which item to donate, considering a shirt, a ball, or other memorabilia.

Reflecting on his induction, Pirlo told the FIGC’s official website, “It’s a great honour to be part of the Hall of Fame.” He also expressed hope for future trophies to add to his collection.
