Barcelona Fires Up Fans for Lewandowski's Camp Nou Farewell
Barcelona faces Real Betis on Sunday evening in what will be Robert Lewandowski's final match at Camp Nou, as the Polish striker prepares to leave the Catalan club after four seasons.

Barcelona has ignited its fanbase ahead of Sunday's La Liga clash against Real Betis at Camp Nou, a fixture that doubles as a farewell to the club's star striker. The match, part of the 37th round of the Spanish league, marks the last time Robert Lewandowski will play on the iconic home pitch before his departure at the end of the current season.
The Polish international announced his exit on Instagram Saturday, writing: "After four years full of challenges and hard work, it's time to move forward. I leave feeling that the mission is complete. 4 seasons, 3 La Liga titles." The post signaled the end of a significant chapter for both the player and the club.
Barcelona's official X account responded with a heartfelt tribute: "Thank you Robert Lewandowski for every goal, every battle, and every magical moment you wore these colors. Barcelona forever." In the hours leading up to the penultimate league fixture, the club posted an image of Camp Nou on X with the caption: "Everything is ready to bid farewell to Lewandowski."
Lewandowski joined Barcelona from Bayern Munich in the summer of 2022. Over his tenure, he made 191 appearances, netted 119 goals, and provided 24 assists. His arrival helped propel the team to sustained domestic success.
Barcelona secured the La Liga title two rounds ago, defeating Real Madrid 2-0 in El Clásico. That victory clinched their second consecutive league championship and the 29th in the club's history, adding a triumphant backdrop to Lewandowski's final home game.
