Barcelona’s management has clarified its position on the future of Spanish forward Ferran Torres, establishing a defined plan for handling his situation in the coming period. This follows growing interest from multiple European clubs seeking to sign him during the upcoming transfer window.

The €55 million valuation

According to Catalan newspaper Sport, Barcelona has fixed a €55 million fee as the minimum acceptable sum for transferring Torres. At the same time, the club is preparing to present him with a contract renewal offer — one that does not include any raise to his current salary, in line with the club’s existing financial policy.

Renewal or exit

Reports indicate Barcelona will initiate negotiations for Torres’s departure if he rejects the proposed renewal terms. Torres, who won the 2026 World Cup with the Spanish national team, remains under contract with Barcelona. The club aims to resolve uncertainty surrounding his status promptly, particularly given intensifying interest from several European sides.

Paris Saint-Germain’s potential move

Paris Saint-Germain is expected to pursue Torres following the departure of French forward Randal Kolo Muani. However, any agreement would depend entirely on Torres’s willingness to accept a new challenge outside Montjuïc Stadium — should renewal talks with Barcelona fail.
