French star Michael Olise has reversed his position toward his club Bayern Munich after receiving enticing proposals from Spanish side Real Madrid to transfer this summer.

Olise has been delivering outstanding performances for France at the 2026 World Cup while also excelling in the 2025-2026 season with Bayern Munich. He scored 20 goals and provided 25 assists, playing a key role in Bayern securing the Bundesliga title.

His contract with Bayern Munich runs until 2029, and the Bavarian club insists on retaining him for the coming years, considering him a fundamental part of coach Vincent Kompany’s plans.

According to Germany’s Bild newspaper, sources close to Olise indicate that the French winger believes he can continue winning the Bundesliga with Bayern but views winning the UEFA Champions League with the club as a challenging prospect.

Sports journalist Christian Falk told the newspaper, "Michael Olise’s situation is becoming increasingly precarious for Bayern Munich. There are rumors that he wants to move to another club, and Real Madrid is the club he dreams of joining."

He added, "This could pose a problem for Bayern Munich, and I do not expect the French international to renew his contract with Bayern in the near future."

It is widely known that Real Madrid is highly interested in signing Michael Olise. In May, Florentino Pérez announced that Real Madrid would present a €150 million offer for a player outside the English Premier League, likely referring to Olise.

Paris Saint-Germain has also shown interest, but Real Madrid is keen on making Olise a central figure in their project.

Falk previously stated, "Bayern wants to double Michael Olise’s salary as part of a deal to keep him at the club until 2031."

This recent change in Olise’s stance appears to be a welcome development for Real Madrid, as it signals his shift away from Bayern Munich toward joining the Spanish giants.
