Mourinho Sets Conditions and Priorities for Real Madrid Transfers
Mourinho has outlined his project and transfer priorities for Real Madrid, pending the club president's re-election.

According to the Spanish newspaper "AS" on Tuesday, Mourinho's project with Real Madrid is ready but has been paused due to the club's presidential elections. The report added that Mourinho will sign a contract extending for two additional seasons, with an optional third season if he succeeds in winning the league. However, the official signing will only occur after Florentino Pérez is re-elected as club president.
The source indicated that Mourinho submitted a report to Real Madrid's management specifying the positions the team needs to strengthen during the summer transfer window. However, he did not name specific players, leaving the choice to the "Merengue" management.
Mourinho requested the signing of one or two central defenders, a right-back, a left-back, a defensive midfielder to serve as a substitute for Aurélien Tchouaméni, and a creative midfielder similar to the Norwegian Fredrik Orsones, whom he coaches at Benfica in Portugal.
He did not ask for any changes to the attacking line but expressed a desire to sign a left-back in the future.
Mourinho stipulated that Real Madrid must consult him on the required transfers and respect the club's various departments and structure without any interference or overstepping of authorities.
The Real Madrid management recognizes the necessity to make some adjustments to the squad by bringing in new players and allowing others to leave, such as David Alaba and Dani Carvajal.
