Gerard Pique, the former Barcelona star who now presides over FC Andorra, has found himself at the center of another contentious episode. The incident unfolded during his side's away fixture against Deportivo La Coruna.

Deportivo edged out Andorra 2-1, a result that brings the Galician club tantalizingly close to securing promotion back to Spain's top flight. Pique was watching from a shared VIP box inside the stadium, a setup that reportedly did not sit well with him.

According to Spanish newspaper AS, Pique had specifically requested a private box where he could be alone. When he discovered the space was communal, he voiced strong objections. The situation escalated to the point where Deportivo officials felt compelled to contact both La Liga and the Spanish Football Federation to report the matter.

This latest controversy comes on the heels of a prior punishment. Pique was handed a two-month suspension and barred from any football-related activities for six matches following his conduct during an Andorra match against Albacete.

As a result of that ban, he was not permitted access to the main VIP platform—which he initially intended to use—nor was he allowed into the tunnel leading to the dressing rooms. His request for a private box appears to have been an attempt to find an alternative, but the shared arrangement triggered his displeasure.
