Real Betis Signs Fran García from Real Madrid for 4 Million Euros
Real Betis has agreed to acquire left-back Fran García from Real Madrid for 4 million euros, with Madrid retaining 50% of any future transfer fee.

Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano revealed that Real Betis and Real Madrid have reached an agreement for the transfer of left-back Fran García during the current summer transfer window.
Romano stated in a tweet on X that the deal is valued at 4 million euros, with Real Madrid maintaining a 50% stake in any future transfer fee for the player as part of the agreement between the two clubs.
The medical examinations for Fran García have already been scheduled, and the player is expected to arrive in Seville within the next few hours to finalize his move to Real Betis.
Romano also noted that García's departure confirms the outline of coach José Mourinho's plan for the upcoming season at Real Madrid, which involves relying on new signing Marc Cucurella from Chelsea as the primary left-back option, with Álvaro Carreiras as his backup, while awaiting Ferland Mendy's recovery from injury.
Real Betis is expected to officially announce the signing once Fran García passes the medical tests and completes the final procedures.
