Luis de la Fuente restores core players to the Spain starting XI for Tuesday's UEFA Nations League match against Croatia.

Luis de la Fuente, head coach of the Spanish national team, has finalized the starting eleven for the upcoming fixture against Croatia. The match takes place on Tuesday evening as part of the fourth round of group stage action in the UEFA Nations League.
The current standings see La Roja leading their section with nine points secured from three victories. England follows in second place with six points, while Croatia sits third with three points. The Czech Republic remains at the bottom of the table without any points.
A win tonight would allow Spain to book their spot in the quarter-finals of the tournament. Conversely, Croatia aims to revive their campaign by defeating the reigning world champions.
Following tactical adjustments made during the previous encounter against the Czech Republic, De la Fuente opted to reintegrate most of his primary squad members. This decision includes returning goalkeeper Unai Simon and defender Cubarsi to the starting lineup.
Cucurella is also back in the fold, alongside striker Oyarzabal. A notable change involves Popel, who will occupy the right-back position. Popel had previously started in matches against both England and Croatia during the first leg of the competition.
The confirmed roster for Spain features Unai Simon in goal. The defensive line consists of Popel, Cubarsi, Laporte, and Cucurella. In midfield, Rodri and Pedri are paired with Yamal, Dani Olmo, and Baena. Oyarzabal leads the attack.
