Manchester United reportedly lead the pursuit of Real Madrid forward Endrick, aiming to outbid AC Milan and Liverpool with a lucrative January transfer package.

A January exit from Real Madrid appears increasingly likely for Brazilian forward Endrick, with Manchester United emerging as the frontrunners in the race for his signature. The 20-year-old has struggled to secure playing time during the 2026/27 campaign, prompting interest from several European heavyweights including AC Milan, Liverpool, Arsenal, AS Roma, and Borussia Dortmund.
Since joining Los Blancos from Palmeiras in a £50million deal in 2022, Endrick’s integration into the first team has been difficult. An injury sidelined him for the opening four La Liga fixtures, and upon his return in early September, he managed only one substitute appearance lasting four minutes. Arda Guler, Brahim Diaz, and Carlos Espi currently rank above him in the squad hierarchy, limiting his opportunities under manager Xabi Alonso.
Reports from Fichajes indicate that Manchester United are keen to land the sensation and believe they can offer a more lucrative package than any proposal coming from Italy. This move would allow United to gain an advantage over former boss Ruben Amorim, who is now managing AC Milan. Although Endrick held direct discussions with Amorim regarding his potential role, United are considered the primary contenders should a mid-season departure be sanctioned.
Endrick’s representatives are seeking assurances regarding his future, preferring either a permanent transfer or a loan arrangement featuring an obligatory buy clause. A meeting between his agents and Real Madrid officials is scheduled for November to determine whether his immediate future lies with the Spanish club or elsewhere. Brazilian reports suggest that Real Madrid would sanction his departure if a substantial buy-option proposal arrives from Old Trafford.
Manchester United are expected to target additions during the winter window following a testing start to the new season. Under Michael Carrick, the squad has triumphed just once in the Premier League and remains winless in their previous four outings. The most recent setback occurred on Saturday evening against Tottenham, where Bryan Mbeumo’s second-half goal was nullified by Dominic Solanke’s added-time equalizer despite Rodrigo Bentancur’s red card shortly after the opener.
Carrick acknowledged the fan dissatisfaction following the draw, noting that the jeers at the final whistle were painful but understandable given the team's performance. "It's not nice, it hurts a lot because I care about this club," Carrick said. "But I understand the disappointment, the reality is what it is, we need to get back to winning games."
