12th Batch of Jordanian Aid Arrives in Lebanon

The Higher Relief Commission announced that the 12th batch of relief aid organized by the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, consisting of (20) trucks provided to the Lebanese Republic through the "Commission," arrived at the Masnaa border crossing. They were received by Deputy Head of Mission at the Embassy of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan in Beirut, Mohammad Al-Muhadin, and Brigadier General Edmond Kaado, representing Secretary General of the Higher Relief Commission Brigadier General Bassam Nabulsi, along with a delegation from the "Commission."

Al-Muhadin

On this occasion, Al-Muhadin delivered a speech stating: "Today, we renew our meeting at the Masnaa border crossing with our brothers in the Lebanese Higher Relief Commission to receive the 14th international convoy and the 15th overall since the beginning of events and recent Israeli attacks on Lebanon." He noted that "this convoy is loaded with humanitarian and relief aid."

He added: "God willing, these efforts will continue in support of the sister Lebanese Republic and displaced persons. Standing alongside our brothers in the Lebanese Republic is essential for Jordan, and we always renew our best wishes for you."

Kaado

In turn, Brigadier General Kaado said: "We are here today to receive an international gift via the land bridge between Lebanon and Jordan, which consists of 20 trucks loaded with relief materials. We extend our thanks to His Majesty King Abdullah II bin Al-Hussein of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan and the Jordanian people for this valuable humanitarian initiative, which reflects the spirit of cooperation between the two brotherly countries and the depth of their historical relationship."

Kaado also thanked "all international and local entities that contributed to ensuring the arrival of this aid to the Lebanese people and needy families amidst the crisis we are facing."
