The Estimation Department at the Meteorological Service of the Directorate General of Civil Aviation expects unstable and occasionally rainy weather with temperatures below seasonal averages to dominate Lebanon and the Eastern Mediterranean Basin. This is due to the influence of a low-pressure system accompanied by relatively cold air masses centered southwest of Turkey, which will continue until tomorrow evening (Sunday), when the weather will gradually stabilize. Temperatures are expected to rise gradually starting next Tuesday.

Expected weather in Lebanon:

Saturday: Partly cloudy to sometimes overcast with fog on the heights and stable temperatures. Scattered rains may fall occasionally with a possibility of lightning and thunder before noon. Winds will be active, and wide clearings are expected from the afternoon onwards.

Sunday: Partly cloudy with a slight drop in temperatures and fog on the heights. Scattered rains may fall occasionally during the morning period, while the weather improves gradually from the afternoon.

Monday: Partly cloudy with no significant change in coastal temperatures and a slight rise in mountainous and inland areas. Scattered drizzle is expected in the north during the morning, turning into partly cloudy skies in the afternoon.

Tuesday: Few clouds to partly cloudy with high clouds, a slight rise in temperatures, and local fog on the heights.

Surface winds: Southwesterly, sometimes active, with speeds between 15 and 45 km/h.

Visibility: Average on the coast, deteriorating on the heights due to fog.

Relative humidity on the coast: Between 60% and 80%.

Sea condition: Choppy.

Water surface temperature: 27°C.

Atmospheric pressure: 1017 hectopascals, equivalent to 763 mmHg.
