Aoun Affirms That Investing in Humans Is Lebanon's Primary Weapon
Lebanese President Joseph Aoun stated that investing in human capital is the nation's main weapon, emphasizing ongoing reforms and negotiations to secure Israeli withdrawal and reconstruction.

Republic President Joseph Aoun affirmed during his reception of the alumni association of "Mon La Salle" school that "our primary weapon in Lebanon is investing in humans. The son of the South has suffered and wants nothing but to live safely. We made the decision to save what remains of Lebanon, and we went to negotiations because war will not lead us to a result," noting that "the agreement we reached is not ideal, but it limited the expansion of Israeli attacks. Our goal is to achieve Israeli withdrawal, the return of displaced persons, the release of prisoners, and reconstruction."
He added, "We continue with procedures and reforms despite difficulties; nothing is impossible. There is still much ahead of us, but we have put things on the right track."
