President Michel Aoun briefed Prime Minister Najib Mikati on the outcomes of his Paris meetings with French President Emmanuel Macron and Jordan's King Abdullah II, including discussions on the international conference supporting Lebanon's army and internal security forces.

President of the Republic Joseph Aoun received Prime Minister Najib Salam, discussing the general situation in the country, particularly in the south where Israeli attacks on southern villages and towns continue.
President Aoun informed Salam about the results of his meetings in Paris with French President Emmanuel Macron and Jordanian King Abdullah II bin Al-Hussein, as well as deliberations at the preparatory meeting for the international conference to support the Lebanese army and internal security forces. He also congratulated him on the renewed confidence granted by the Parliament following the discussion sessions.
The two presidents discussed the agenda for the upcoming United Nations General Assembly meetings in New York, which will begin next Tuesday, with Salam leading the Lebanese delegation. They also addressed the meeting to be held in Washington on the Lebanese situation. The conversation further touched upon the Council of Ministers' ongoing work to finalize the budget.
