Aoun: Lebanon's Ports Joining IMEC a Gain to Enhance and Develop Our Logistics and Trade Sector
Lebanese President Joseph Aoun stated that the inclusion of Beirut and Tripoli ports in the International Maritime Economic Corridor (IMEC) is a significant institutional achievement for enhancing logistics and trade partnerships.

Republic President General Joseph Aoun considered the joining of the ports of Beirut and Tripoli to the "International Maritime Economic Corridor (IMEC) Ports Club" and the signing of an agreement in this regard in the Indian capital, New Delhi, as an important institutional achievement for Lebanon, and a real window to enhance our partnerships and develop our logistics and commercial sector according to the latest global standards.
He added: "Every step that places our institutions on the path of integration and effective action constitutes a gain for Lebanon and its economy. We continue to build bridges of cooperation and activate our role through the efforts of our people and institutions."
President Aoun concluded: "What was agreed upon in New Delhi is a new practical step that consolidates Lebanon's presence on the map of regional and international cooperation."
