President of the Republic Joseph Aoun received Prime Minister Nawaf Salam, with whom he discussed the general situation in the country, particularly in the south, within the framework of monitoring state measures under the recovery plan and strengthening the presence of security and civil institutions in villages and towns not subject to occupation.

During the meeting, they evaluated the results of visits to Beirut by Qatari Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani, and the development projects agreed upon for launch, especially in the energy and electricity sectors. They also assessed the visit by French Foreign Minister Jean-Noel Barrot and Minister Delegate for Armed Forces and Veterans Alice Rufo, discussing topics raised, particularly the post-operational mission phase of the UNIFIL force and Europe's supportive role for Lebanon in the coming period. Additionally, they evaluated the visit by Arab League Secretary-General Nabil Fahmy and the solidarity he expressed with Lebanon at this stage.

President Aoun and the Prime Minister reviewed measures implemented by the army and security forces to maintain stability in the country, as well as ongoing coordination with the judiciary to pursue those disrupting security.

Salam informed the President about the agenda for the cabinet session scheduled for Thursday at Baabda Palace.
