At the beginning of the Cabinet session, President Joseph Aoun commended the efforts made by ministers to carry out their duties despite the difficulties facing the country as a whole, emphasizing the importance of focusing on positives rather than promoting negatives, as some unfortunately attempt to do.

He said: Regarding the apple issue, it is necessary to acknowledge the important role played by the Minister of Agriculture and his follow-up on the matter. I also thank Mr. Rodolphe Saadé, Chairman and CEO of CMA CGM, who provided notable assistance by reducing shipping costs for farmers.

President Aoun added: I visited the Artificial Intelligence Exhibition, and congratulations must be extended to Minister Kamal Chahine. I invite everyone to visit this exhibition and see that the generation participating in it is the Lebanon of the future. The Parliament must also work quickly to pass the law establishing a "Ministry of Artificial Intelligence," because we have become very late compared to other countries, knowing that we are key contributors to the development of this field outside Lebanon. Meanwhile, there are those who say we are "unqualified" to keep up with this development, which is incorrect, as more than 27% of Lebanese use artificial intelligence. I also congratulate Minister Fayez Rasmanni on the official joining of Tripoli Port and Beirut Port to the "India-Middle East-Europe Economic Corridor (IMEC) Ports Club," a major achievement that did not receive its due in the media; rather, it was questioned. It is also necessary to praise the development witnessed at Rafic Hariri Airport and the organization that facilitated travelers' conditions.

He continued: Minister Rakan Nasreddine deserves congratulations for the restructuring of the ministry's hierarchy, which is a form of reform. He said: If congratulations are extended to some ministers, this does not mean others are not working, but there are certain aspects that stand out from others. However, effort is being made by everyone, and many people do not know what ministers are doing in their ministries. It is the right of the people to know what progress is happening in ministries and official institutions.
