The General Directorate of the Internal Security Forces - Public Relations Division issued the following statement:

"The General Directorate of the Internal Security Forces announces its need to recruit ordinary and specialized trainee gendarmes (riot control – special forces for the Information Branch, Judicial Police, Mobile Forces – prisons – traffic) from among civilian males (single – widowed or divorced without children) and active-duty male personnel in the Armed Forces, according to the following:"

First:
Volunteer applications will begin on 07/09/2026 and continue until 09/10/2026 inclusive. For this purpose, applicants must fill out their personal data on the dedicated page on the Internal Security Forces website.

According to the following guidelines:
Access the "Electronic Volunteering Platform" link and fill in all required data, whereby the candidate obtains a PDF form containing a unified number.
Print the aforementioned form mentioned in item /1/, attach it to all required documents, and proceed to the regional secretariat within whose jurisdiction he resides, where the application is formally registered and a receipt is obtained, valid throughout the period of health examinations, sports tests, and written exams.
Candidates can, after completing the registration process, verify the status of their application via the electronic volunteering platform by entering the unified code in the tracking field.
Follow the circulars that will be issued later via the official website of the Internal Security Forces, to stay informed about everything related to this topic at the appropriate time.
Second :

Candidates wishing to volunteer must meet the following conditions:
Be Lebanese for more than ten years at least.
Have completed eighteen years of age and not exceeded twenty-eight years by December 31, 2026 (born between 1998 and 2008).
/25/ years for holders of the Brevet certificate (in case the Brevet certificate was not obtained, a school certificate certified by the Ministry of Education according to regulations stating that the intermediate education stage was successfully completed).
/27/ years for holders of the Lebanese Baccalaureate – Second Cycle or its official equivalent, or holders of the Technical Baccalaureate.
/28/ years for university degree holders.
Enjoy physical fitness making him worthy of service in the Internal Security Forces.
Have a height of /164/ cm for holders of the Lebanese Baccalaureate – Second Cycle or its official equivalent, or holders of the Technical Baccalaureate or a university degree, and /167/ cm for other candidates.
Enjoy civil rights and not have been convicted of a felony or attempted felony of any kind, or a misdemeanor involving moral turpitude or attempted misdemeanor involving moral turpitude, or imprisonment for more than six months; these provisions apply to persons who have been rehabilitated and benefited from general or special amnesty.
Be of good conduct and morals, not addicted to intoxicants, drugs, or gambling games, and not affiliated with or cooperating with an unlicensed political party.
Not have practiced a disreputable or dishonorable profession in his civilian life.
Third :

Those wishing to submit volunteer applications to the Internal Security Forces must include the following documents:

An individual civil status record proving he has been Lebanese for more than ten years, issued no more than three months ago, bearing a recent photograph for civilians, and Form No. /1/ for military personnel.
A family civil status record (for civilians only), issued no more than three months ago.
Four photographs measuring (3.5 cm x 5 cm) for the candidate, taken from the same film used for the photo on the individual civil status record above for civilians, and four photographs for military personnel stamped by the direct supervisor.
A criminal record issued no more than one month ago.
A written authorization from the Army Command or the relevant General Directorate approving enlistment in the Internal Security Forces, regarding candidates applying from active-duty Armed Forces personnel.
A written certificate from the General Directorate of the Internal Security Forces, or the Army Command, or the relevant General Directorate, for candidates volunteering who are sons of former or active-duty members, indicating the father's status regarding one of the following cases:
The father is still in active service.
The father was discharged from service (state reason).
The father died in the line of duty.
The father suffered permanent disability during service.
A written certificate from the General Directorate of the Internal Security Forces, or the Army Command, or the relevant General Directorate, for candidates volunteering who have military siblings who died in the line of duty or suffered permanent disability during service.
Brevet certificate or school certificate confirming successful completion of the intermediate education stage, or Lebanese Baccalaureate – Second Cycle or its official equivalent, or Technical Baccalaureate, or university degree (certified according to regulations) for civilians and military personnel."
