Army Commander Meets UNIFIL Chief to Discuss Southern Developments and Cooperation

Army Commander Rudolf Heikal received General Diodato Abagnara, the head and commander of the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL), at his office in Yarze. Abagnara was accompanied by his deputy, Hervé Lecoq, who serves as the mission's Director of Political and Civil Affairs.

The meeting focused on the latest updates and developments in Lebanon, particularly in the southern region. Discussions also addressed ways to strengthen cooperation between the Lebanese Army and UNIFIL amid current challenges.
