Army Commander Receives Swiss Ambassador

Army Commander General Rodolphe Heykal received Swiss Ambassador Nicole Rueda at his office in Yarzé, where they discussed general conditions and developments in Lebanon.

The Swiss Ambassador expressed her country's "appreciation for the army's efforts and its role in maintaining security and stability," confirming "Switzerland's readiness to provide the necessary support to reach a sustainable solution in the country."

Additionally, the Army Commander received the Assistant Secretary-General of the Arab League, Abdul Rahman Al-Salah. The discussion focused on general conditions, emphasizing the importance of supporting the military institution amidst the challenges it faces.
