Army Conducts Raid, Seizes Weapons and Ammunition

The Army Command – Directorate of Orientation issued the following statement:
On 7/7/2026, an army unit conducted a raid on the homes of wanted individuals in the Sharaouna area of Baalbek. The operation resulted in the arrest of two Syrians, identified as (K.M.) and (A.Z.), for their involvement in drug trafficking. During the raid, a quantity of drugs, weapons, ammunition, and additional military supplies were seized.
The confiscated items were handed over, and investigations into the detainees have commenced under the supervision of the competent judiciary.
