Army Seizes Large Quantity of War Weapons in Bachamoun
The Lebanese Army seized a large quantity of war weapons and arrested suspects involved in arms trafficking and drug dealing in Bachamoun, Tripoli, and Nahr al-Bared.

The Army Command - Directorate of Guidance issued the following statement:
As a result of security monitoring and follow-up operations, a patrol from the Intelligence Directorate raided the home of citizen (A.S.) in the Bachamoun - Aley area and arrested him for trafficking in war weapons and drugs. They seized a large quantity of war weapons and ammunition. They also arrested with him citizen (M.Z.), against whom there is an arrest warrant on charges of firing shots.
Additionally, a patrol from the Directorate arrested 7 citizens and two Palestinians in the Nahr al-Bared camp and in the areas of Tabbaneh, Qobbeh, and the Vegetable Market – Tripoli, for consuming and dealing in drugs, and seized a quantity thereof in their possession.
The seized items were handed over, and investigations with the detainees were initiated under the supervision of the competent judiciary.
