Speaker of the Parliament Nabih Beri sent a telegram to the Speaker of the Islamic Consultative Assembly of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Mohammad Baqer Qalibaf, on the occasion of his election to a new legislative term, congratulating him. The text of the telegram read: "Honorable Speaker of the Islamic Consultative Assembly of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Dr. Mohammad Baqer Qalibaf. I am pleased to extend, on my behalf and on behalf of the Lebanese Parliament, my warmest congratulations on the occasion of the members of the Islamic Consultative Assembly of the Islamic Republic of Iran renewing their confidence in you as Speaker of the Assembly for a new legislative term, wishing you success and achievement in carrying out your duties, for the benefit of the Islamic Republic of Iran and its people in progress, stability, and prosperity.
