Speaker of the Lebanese Parliament Nabih Berri sent a telegram to His Holiness Pope Leo XIV, congratulating him on the success of his surgical operation.
The text of the telegram read as follows:
"His Eminence, His Holiness the Supreme Pontiff, Pope Leo XIV, respected.

It gives me great pleasure, on my personal behalf and on behalf of the Lebanese Parliamentary Council, to extend to Your Holiness the warmest congratulations and the best and most sincere wishes on the occasion of the successful surgical operation.
