Berri Follows Up with Salam on General Situation, Political Developments, Electricity File and Socio-Economic Affairs
Speaker Nabih Berri met with Prime Minister Nawaf Salam to discuss political developments, the electricity crisis, and socio-economic issues, while also meeting with the Central Bank Governor and industrial leaders.

Speaker of Parliament Nabih Berri received Prime Minister Nawaf Salam at the Second Presidential Palace in Ain el-Tineh. The meeting addressed the general situation and recent political and field developments. They also discussed a number of topics related to addressing pressing social and economic conditions. Additionally, they reviewed the results of President Salam's visits to the United States and his tour of the city of Nabatieh, along with the projects he launched there. The meeting focused on the necessity of finding a radical solution to the electricity file, whether through the BOT system or through a Lebanese-international agreement that leads to a final resolution for this vital issue in the lives of Lebanon and its people.
Berri also followed up on the general situation, particularly financial matters, during his meeting with the Governor of the Banque du Liban, Karim Saeed.
Berri also received the head of the Association of Industrialists, Salim El-Zeiny, in the presence of Mr. Rabah Jaber. El-Zeiny presented to the Speaker the situation of the industrial sector and the association's work programs for the current phase and the future.
