Speaker Nabih Berri urges Lebanese citizens to avoid falling into sectarian discord, emphasizing the risks of internal strife.

Speaker of the Parliament Nabih Berri released a brief statement addressing the Lebanese people, cautioning them about the dangers of sectarian strife within the country.
In his message, Berri said, "My people in Lebanon, all of Lebanon, this is sedition!" He cited the proverb: "Be in sedition like the son of the melon, neither a back to be ridden nor a udder to be milked," urging the public not to succumb to divisions and tensions.
