Civil Defense Joins Sea Floor Cleanup Campaign in Tyre
Lebanese Civil Defense personnel from Tyre participated in a campaign to clean the seabed of Tyre city, aiming to reduce marine pollution and protect the environment.

Personnel from the Lebanese Civil Defense – Tyre center took part in a campaign focused on cleaning the seabed of the city of Tyre. This initiative is part of efforts to remove marine waste and debris, contributing to pollution reduction and the preservation of the marine environment.
A statement issued by the Media and Public Relations Department of the General Directorate of Civil Defense confirmed that this participation reflects the directorate’s commitment to supporting environmental initiatives, protecting natural resources, and promoting a culture of environmental conservation.
The statement added that such activities have a positive impact on public safety and serve the local community in Tyre and its surroundings.
