Civil Service Employees Association Announces Continued Friday Shutdown Until Unified Salary Scale Is Approved
The Civil Service Employees Association confirmed the continuation of a forced shutdown on Fridays, demanding the approval of a unified salary scale to address the collapse in wages and rising living costs.

The "Public Administration Employees" Association stated in a press release that employees are no longer able to bear the continuous collapse in the value of their salaries and wages, which have become incapable of securing the simplest requirements for a decent life, amid the ongoing rise in living costs and the persistence of policies of promises and procrastination.
The Association strongly condemned the government's disregard for the legitimate demands of its employees, despite being the employer responsible for ensuring fairness and securing their rights.
The Association reaffirmed its core demands:
1. The approval of a new, fair, and unified salary scale that corrects salaries and wages in proportion to the monetary collapse and rising living costs.
2. The approval of a fair transportation allowance that keeps pace with fuel prices.
3. Improvement of social benefits, particularly school grants, to preserve the rights of employees and their families.
4. Support for the State Employees Cooperative and an increase in benefits for school grants and hospitalization."
At the same time, the Association affirmed that it "will exert all possible efforts and utilize its resources to contribute to achieving these demands and finding practical and sustainable solutions that protect employees' rights and serve the public interest, without this implying any retreat from legitimate demands or acceptance of continued stalling."
The Association announced the "continuation of the forced shutdown on Fridays until a unified and fair rank and salary scale is approved, while keeping the doors of dialogue open to any serious initiative leading to fairness and serving the public interest."
