Directorate of Education: No Proceeding with the Clinical Exam

Issued by the General Directorate of Higher Education at the Ministry of Education and Higher Education:

"In light of the texts issued by the Ministry of Education and Higher Education regarding the conduct of a clinical/practical exam for the specialties of general medicine, dentistry, and pharmacy within the framework of the 2026 - first session Colloquium examinations, particularly Announcement No. 7022/11 dated 30/7/2026 (regarding the organization of a clinical exam in general medicine for those who passed the first session linear Colloquium exam of 2026) and Announcement No. 7024/11 dated 30/7/2026 (regarding the organization of a practical exam in pharmacy for those who passed the first session linear Colloquium exam of 2026), and Decision No. 1110/M/2026 dated 3/8/2026 (setting the dates for the clinical exam in general medicine and the practical exam in pharmacy for the first session of the 2026 Colloquium examinations).

In light of consultations with the Ministry of Public Health and the Bar Associations of Doctors in Beirut and Tripoli, after seeking advice from the Head of the Legal Council at the Ministry of Justice, and following approval by the Minister of Education and Higher Education, the General Directorate of Higher Education announces its decision not to proceed with the aforementioned clinical/practical exam for the first session of the 2026 Colloquium examinations, and to implement it starting from the second session of this year, scheduled to be held in November–December 2026, with the necessary decision to be issued by the Honorable Minister of Education and Higher Education in accordance with applicable administrative procedures."
