First Day of Official Lebanese Delegation's Visit to Dubai

The first day of the official Lebanese delegation's visit to Dubai has commenced, lasting three days as part of a program organized by the UAE Governmental Knowledge Exchange Office, aiming to benefit from UAE experience in developing administration and enhancing direct cooperation between institutions of both nations.

The delegation comprises 24 officials, led by Ministers of Economy Ammar Boustani and of Technology and Artificial Intelligence Kaml Chahadeh.

The first day’s program includes meetings with Mohamed bin Talia, Assistant Minister for Cabinet Affairs at the Office of Governmental Knowledge Exchange, Minister of State for Artificial Intelligence Omar Al-Owais, Minister of Foreign Trade Thani Al-Zeyoudi, along with other Emirati officials, and sessions on artificial intelligence, legislation, future foresight, government services, eliminating bureaucracy, and foreign trade.

The visit aims to enable each Lebanese entity to identify its needs and areas of benefit from UAE expertise, establish direct and sustainable communication and coordination channels with counterparts, paving the way for advancing governmental cooperation between the two countries, and exploring potential cross-border investment opportunities and projects in later stages.
