General Rudolph Hikil met with U.S. General Joseph Clearfield, head of the Lebanon-specific Military Coordination Group MCG4L, discussing security arrangements related to the framework agreement and ongoing challenges faced by the Lebanese Army.
General Commander of the Army, General Rudolph Hikil, received U.S. General Joseph Clearfield, head of the Lebanon-specific Military Coordination Group MCG4L, along with a delegation, in his office at Yarze.
During the meeting, developments in the south and security arrangements related to the framework agreement were discussed, as well as the difficulties the army faces while carrying out its missions, particularly ongoing Israeli occupation attacks, excavations, and destruction.
Both sides also emphasized the importance of supporting the army amid its operations in the south and various Lebanese regions.
