Fadi Abu Shaqra, a representative of fuel distributors, reassured the public following circulating reports about a potential gasoline shortage due to regional security tensions. He stated that gasoline supplies are available and that there are no issues securing fuel for Lebanon amid the ongoing events in the region.

Abu Shaqra ruled out any price increases during the current week, forecasting instead a decrease in the upcoming two pricing schedules. In a phone interview with the National News Agency, he confirmed that fuel quantities are sufficient and that the local market is stable.

He urged citizens not to panic or rush to fuel stations and expressed hope for improved security conditions both regionally and within Lebanon. Additionally, he wished for a decline in global oil prices to contribute to price stability in Lebanon.
