Gang Stole Safe Worth $3 Million!

"On 06-09-2026, citizen (B. B. M., born 1961) filed a complaint against unknown individuals for breaking into his residence located in the Smar Jbeil - Batroun area, and stealing a metal safe containing jewelry, gold ingots, and monetary amounts valued at three million US dollars.

Immediately, specialized units within the Internal Security Forces launched field and investigative procedures to identify and apprehend those involved. Following inquiries and investigations, the Information Branch identified the suspects as:

A. A. K. (born 1992, Lebanese)

M. H. (born 1987, Lebanese)

K. T. (born 1986, Lebanese)

On September 8 and 14, 2026, after meticulous surveillance and monitoring, patrols from the branch apprehended the first and second suspect in the Kousha - Akkar area, and the third in the Nab’a area.

Upon interrogation, they confessed to their involvement in planning and executing the safe robbery, admitting they concealed the stolen items in multiple locations after removing and damaging the safe.

A portion of the stolen goods has been recovered and handed over to the complainant, including: 25,500 US dollars, a quantity of jewelry and gold pieces, four wristwatches, three military firearms, five hunting rifles, and some personal documents and papers.

Legal procedures were carried out against the detained individuals, who have been transferred to the competent judicial authority following the prosecutor’s instructions."
