Maronite Patriarch Cardinal Bechara Boutros al-Rahi received Communications Minister Charbel Hajj at the Patriarchal Residence in Bkerke, where they discussed current developments.
In a chat with journalists, Hajj noted that he conveyed greetings from President Joseph Aoun to Patriarch al-Rahi, wishing him success in his upcoming visit to Rome on Sunday. He added that the meeting touched upon the general situation in the country.
Hajj affirmed that "Bkerke, as a historical reference, has an inclusive national role," calling for approaching its positions with a spirit of detachment, commitment, and responsibility.
