Lebanese Minister of Telecommunications Charles Hajj promised a qualitative leap and over 50% improvement in the country's communication network by the end of the year, despite challenges posed by war damage and increased demand.

Minister of Telecommunications Charbel Hajj, responding to an MTV question regarding poor connectivity, stated that he disagrees with the notion that "the sector is heading for the worst. We inherited a network that was 80% dilapidated, and the war set us back six months, in addition to the surge in network demand. However, I promise an improvement exceeding 50% and a qualitative leap in the network before the end of the year."
Hajj added, "We are not satisfied with the current situation, but I promise an improvement exceeding 50% and a qualitative leap in the network before the end of the year."
