MP Hassan Fadlallah stated that the vehicle loaded with explosives seized in Dahr al-Baydar belongs to the Resistance and warned Lebanese authorities against escalating measures, declaring the March 2 decision unconstitutional.

Member of the "Loyalty to the Resistance Bloc" MP Hassan Fadlallah addressed the seizure of the vehicle loaded with explosives in Dahr al-Baydar, stating from the Parliament: "We tried to handle the issue of the car and its cargo away from any internal dispute."
Fadlallah added: "From the moment the car was stopped, the relevant parties within the 'Resistance' rushed to communicate with the agencies and inform them that the car belongs to the 'Resistance'.
He continued: "We demanded the immediate release of those detained and what was inside the car because they are capabilities used by the 'Resistance' to defend the land."
Fadlallah considered that "the March 2 decision which insulted the 'Resistance' and its people is contrary to the Constitution and the National Pact; it is a void decision whose effects we do not recognize."
He said: "We warn some members of the authority that, from our national position, we protect the state and the nation from the risks of implementing these demands."
Fadlallah added: "We warn this authority against the consequences of persisting in its measures, and it must hasten to address the risks and reverse these procedures."
He continued: "We will not be lenient with any targeting or with any party executing the American agenda, and we tell the authority that dialogue for stability does not align with such performance."
Fadlallah concluded by saying that "carrying out this campaign against our 'resistance' will not deter us from defending our country and working by all means to liberate our land regardless of the difficulties."
