Heikal and Reza Discuss Humanitarian Aid Mechanisms and Challenges in South Lebanon
Army Commander Heikal met with UN Resident Coordinator Reza to discuss humanitarian aid mechanisms and challenges in south Lebanon, alongside meetings with MPs regarding current developments.

Army Commander General Rodolphe Heikal received the United Nations Resident Coordinator and Humanitarian Affairs Coordinator in Lebanon, Imran Riza, at his office in Yarzé. They reviewed mechanisms for providing humanitarian aid in the south, as well as the main challenges hindering its delivery to residents in occupied Lebanese areas.
He also received MP Haidar Nasser and then MP Asaad Dargham, where discussions touched upon current developments. Both MPs affirmed that the army is the guarantee for all Lebanese people and the protector of stability during this delicate phase, stressing the importance of rallying around the military institution.
