Hourly Contracted Professors at Lebanese University: To Complete the Full-Time Decision Without Any Delay

The "Committee of Hourly Contracted Professors at the Lebanese University" considered that "the time has come to complete the Council of Ministers decision No. 17 dated 16/2/2026 regarding the full-time appointment of contracted professors, and to end the policy of waiting and procrastination."

It called in a statement on the "Minister of Education and Higher Education to immediately submit the full-time appointment file to the General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers, and follow it up until it is included on the agenda and approved," holding her "fully responsible for any delay at this stage and for the consequences of this delay."

It also called on the "Council of Ministers to take the necessary steps to complete the full-time appointment decision without any further delay."
