The Minister of Interior and Municipalities, Ahmad Al-Hajar, toured the Beirut Civil Registry Department, accompanied by the Acting Director-General of Personal Status, Rudina Muraib. He was briefed on the workflow and the mechanism for completing citizens' transactions, especially those of Beirut residents, in addition to displaced persons from their regions.

The Minister of Interior and Municipalities, Ahmad Al-Hajar, toured the Beirut Civil Registry Department, accompanied by the Acting Director-General of Personal Status, Rudina Muraib. He was briefed on the workflow and the mechanism for completing citizens' transactions, especially those of Beirut residents, in addition to displaced persons from their regions, emphasizing "the need to expedite procedures and improve the level of services provided."
Minister Al-Hajar also learned from the civil registry officials of Nabatieh, Marjayoun, Tyre, Mays al-Jabal, Jouaya, Jbaa, and Tibnine about the difficulties they faced during the transfer of records from their areas to the Directorate General of Personal Status at the Ministry in Beirut, with the aim of protecting citizens' files and records from Israeli shelling.
The Minister of Interior gave his instructions to Muraib and the civil registry officials on "the need to provide all facilities to displaced families to complete their transactions, and to secure everything necessary to ensure the smooth running of work."
He clarified that "the Directorate General of Personal Status is in the process of taking additional exceptional measures to facilitate citizens' affairs."
Minister Al-Hajar also received MP Elias Hankash in his office, and they discussed general conditions and developmental affairs.
